Letter G was for Giving and grandparents
We focused on giving this week. Giving to our family, friends, neighbors, community, and our church. We also talked about being thankful, and he made some cute Thanksgiving crafts.
Craft #1 from Family Fun: Turkey Hat
Family: Colored pictures and gave pictures to Aunt Magan and had Thanksgiving dinner early with Papa and Grandma Vivie.
All I wanted was a cute pic with the Grandparents. It was too much to ask of the 2 year old.
At least my girl cooperated.
Neighbors & Friends: Made cookies for our neighbors and friends. The Pumpkin Butterscotch ones. Check out my other post for the recipe.
Read a The Firefighter’s Thanksgiving by: Maribeth Boelts and made cookies for firefighters.
We made them Jello Pudding Chocolate Chip Cookies (will post recipe soon). We colored them a picture too.
Thanksgiving Craft #2: Hand and Footprint Turkey from Enchanted Learning
God and others: Collected money for church and cleared out some toys and gave them to Goodwill. His church Sunday School class gave him this cute smile face to collect money in for church.
Family: We spent time together on Thanksgiving day being thankful for our family. We went the Children’s Garden and enjoyed a fun day and decorated the Christmas tree that night.
Next up: Christmas theme with lots of fun Advent ideas!
