T week was fun for Eli, because it was all about Trucks, Trains, Tigers, Towers, Tools and much more.
The first day was for TRACTORS and TRUCKS we went to Touch A Truck, and Eli got to see a ton of different TRUCKS, sit in some, and touch them. We rode on a train too.
We went to a wonderful puppet show called A Dinosaur’s Tail. The main dinosaur was a T-Rex. We even got to go backstage and play with the puppets. We talked about Tails and read Matthew VanFleet book TAILS.
We built lots of TOWERS this week too. A friend gave Eli her son’s old legos, so he had some new blocks to build towers with this week.
We went to the zoo on Thursday and saw the TIGER and TURKEY. We rode on the Tiger on the Merry-Go-Round. The real tiger was sleeping, so he played on the tiger statue, but we got a pic with the real turkey.
We saw the TORTOISE at the zoo another day.
TEETH and TOES was another fun day. We worked on brushing on teeth and touching our toes!
We looked at TREES and read The Giving Tree by: Shel Silverstein. He played T-ball with his dad and hit it with both hands for the first time!
We took a venture to Barnes and Noble and played on their wonderful train table. Eli has so much fun and did not want to leave.
He played with a friend’s TOOL set at play group and hammered away.
We read so many great books like: Trucks by: Byron Barton, My Truck is Stuck by: Kevin Lewis and Donald Kirk, I Love Trains and I Love Trucks by: Philemon Sturges , and Freight Train by: Donald Crews.
U & V are coming next.
