R week we had some beautiful weather, so we did a lot of things outside. The first day was RABBITS and RAINBOWS, we went to the zoo and saw the rabbits.
We also were able to see more rabbits when we went my husband’s school.
We were able to go to Leapin Lizards and jump and crawl under a rainbow.
He did some rainbow finger painting and rode on his friends bike.
We read a great book called Planting a Rainbow by: Lois Elhert. He absolutely loved it!
Day 2 was for ROCKS and we went to the Children’s Garden and found some rocks to climb on and had a rock hunt. He also dug for moon rocks at the church Funday Sunday event.
ROCKETS was day three and we made some rockets out of a toilet paper roll and made a rocket balloon to play with outside. The rocket balloon looks a lot like our octopus in O week, but we added beans to the inside, so it made a noise too. We read Curious George and the Rocket.
We talked about RAIN, and I was hoping for a rainy day to jump in puddles, but we made our on rain with the hose. We were hoping to attempt to make a rain stick, but did not get to attempt it:(.
We went to Funday Sunday at church and were able to see some RACE CARS and even race them down a ramp.
We listened to lots of Rock-n-Roll, and Eli showed off his dance moves. We also did lots of RUNNING and RIDING , and ROCKING!
