We started O week off with OVALS and OPPOSITES. We found a lot of great books on Opposites from our library, and Eli loves them. We ate a wonderful lunch filled with OVALS.
We learned about OWLS and OSTRICHES. Owl Babies is a great book by: Martin Waddell. We also saw an ostrich and an owl at the zoo when we went later in the week.
ORCHESTRA was day three, and I found a great book at the Library called Animal Orchestra by: Scott Gustafson . We played some instruments too.
Our favorite day was OCEAN and OCTOPUS.
We will be heading to the ocean in about a week, so we will get to see it in full view. We made an octopus out of a balloon and streamers. Eli had fun playing with him.
I made an ocean sensory box with seashells and fish in it. He enjoyed playing in this for a long time. He even caught a few fish.
We made an octopus out of play dough.
We also went to the zoo and saw what would be in the ocean. Lots of fish!
The last day was for ORANGE. We ate oranges, we colored in orange, we sang a song about an orange.
Stay tuned for P!
