We started off by celebrating Eli’s GRANDPARENTS and GODPARENTS. We looked at their pictures and went over their names. We prayed for them and talked about them. We spent the second day talking about GRASSHOPPERS. The third day was my personal favorite: GUITARS and GOODNIGHT. We played our guitars and read GOODNIGHT MOON looked out at the moon and stars. Dad even brought him home a star balloon.
Eli also came up with his own G word today. He decided to spell his first word with the magnetic letters. He grabbed three letters and when I looked down it said GOD. I know he did not do it on purpose, but it was so neat to see it. I even flashed a picture of it. He knew the most important G word of all.
We ended the week with GOLF, GARDEN, GOAT, GIRAFFE, and GORILLA. We wanted to make a trip to the zoo to see all these animals, but we are planning to go next weekend. We spent a lot of time playing in the garden and planting seeds. Oh, and we did go tailgaiting for the South Carolina Gamecocks vs. the Florida Gators. It was his first tailgaiting experience, and he had a blast running around. It was perfect for G week because the GATORS won!
